KRUK finalizes debt portfolios purchase agreement with nominal value of PLN 839m from Getin Noble Bank in Poland
On December 21st 2020, KRUK announced in a current report that it had signed purchase agreement to buy debt portfolios in Poland, worth nominally PLN 839m, from Getin Noble Bank S.A.
“Several days ago we informed the market about our winning bid to buy a bank’s portfolio, and now we had finalized this transaction. Just signed debt purchase agreement of unsecured retail claims will lead to one of KRUK’s largest investments on the Polish market in several years,” comments Piotr Krupa, President of the Management Board of KRUK S.A. “The debt sale market in Poland has opened up after a period of stagnation during the spring and summer. We are pleased that the last quarter of the year has traditionally been very active, sending a strong signal that the coming year will be better in terms of portfolio supply and KRUK is prepared for it. We are not slowing down and, strongly motivated, we enter the next year” adds Piotr Krupa.
Complete data on investments and recoveries for the fourth quarter of 2020 will be published by the KRUK Group by January 10th 2021.
