KRUK will acquire debt portfolios from the largest bank in Poland
Today, the Management Board of KRUK announced that it had won an auction to purchase portfolios of unsecured debt totalling approximately PLN 812 million of nominal value from PKO BP S.A. of Warsaw.
‘I am pleased with another winning, this time in one of the recently largest auctions on the domestic market. This year, by September 2024, we have invested PLN 535 million in Poland, purchasing debt portfolios with a nominal value of PLN 3 billion. After finalizing the auction we have just won, we will strengthen our position on the unsecured retail debt market in Poland - comments Piotr Krupa, CEO and President of the Management Board of KRUK S.A. - We are developing in each of KRUK's 4 main markets, although of course we have the greatest experience on the Polish market. We actively participate in tenders in all our markets, and the last quarter of the year traditionally abounds in the largest number of potential transactions.
