KRUK estimates its first-quarter 2022 net profit at PLN 244m

KRUK has announced today the Group’s expected net profit for the first quarter of 2022 at the level of PLN 244m, 92% more than a year earlier. This would be KRUK’s largest first-quarter net profit ever reported in its operating history.

‘In my recent comments on the 2021 results, I said KRUK had taken its business to an entirely new level. Last year’s record results and a place among top international players in Europe motivate us to break new records,’ said Piotr Krupa, CEO and President of the Management Board of KRUK S.A. ‘If the first-quarter earnings estimates prove correct, the company will post the highest first-quarter profit in its operating history. The estimated PLN 244m for the first quarter represents 35% of last year’s record results. Given the high level of recoveries, the volume of investments and the first-quarter net profit estimate, 2022 promises to be an eventful and busy year. In all of our markets, we actively participate in auctions and constantly work towards operational and investment excellence and progress in digital transformation. Today we are an international group with robust operations in Italy and Spain. We also place a strong focus on and pay attention to changes in the broad IT domain. Technology and improvement of analytics are currently the key themes we are working on intensively,’ concluded Mr Krupa.
