On October 25th 2019, PROKURA (a subsidiary of KRUK S.A.) won an auction for the purchase of a portfolio of secured and unsecured bank receivables, organised by one of the largest banks in Poland.
PROKURA Niestandaryzowany Sekurytyzacyjny Fundusz Inwestycyjny Zamknięty (non-standardised securitisation closed-end investment fund), a member of the KRUK Group, has won an auction on the Polish market for the purchase of debt with a nominal value of approximately PLN 1.4bn.
The transaction will be finalised once the management board of the selling bank approves the selection of the buyer.
“The nominal value PLN 1.4bn represents 35% of the nominal value of the portfolio we purchased in the first three quarters of 2019. Such a large investment in the bank portfolio confirms our experience that the fourth quarter is the most intensive period of debt sale transactions. We are now looking forward to finalising the transaction, aware that we are in for some hard work at the end of the year, and we are counting on further transactions” said Piotr Krupa, KRUK S.A. CEO.
